Valor 4 Vet publishes its August 2026 price list on a public page: $300 for a record review, $1,200 for a nexus letter, $500 for a mental-health DBQ or video exam, $400 for an online DBQ, $400 for a rebuttal letter, $300 to expedite a record review. On the same page it says a record review is required before a nexus letter can be ordered, which makes the shortest route to a signed letter $1,500 rather than $1,200. The FAQ points elsewhere for prices: "You can view current service pricing inside the Portal upon registration."
The company is unusual in this category in one specific way. Its founder and president, Bethanie Spangenberg, PA-C, appears on VA's Office of General Counsel roster as an accredited claims agent — we searched it and found her, at the company's own Waverly, Ohio phone number. Two other named medical experts on the About page do not appear on the roster in any category. The About page's claim that "All of our medical experts are certified through the VA" is about Disability and Medical Assessment certification, which the same page names for each of them; it is not VA accreditation, and the two are not interchangeable.
The terms say what the accreditation does not buy you here: "Valor 4 Vet does not offer legal representation for preparing, presenting, and/or prosecuting veteran disability claims. We cannot assist with filing or preparing User VA disability claim documents," followed by a link to the OGC search so you can find someone who can. An accredited VSO will do that for $0.

The two things worth arguing with are both about the number rather than the work. The headline price is $1,200 and the price you can actually pay is $1,500, because the record review is a prerequisite and the pricing page says so two paragraphs below the figure. And the FAQ sends you to the portal for prices while the public price page exists — a veteran who lands on the FAQ first is asked to register before seeing a number.
