Trajector Medical's fee is five times the amount your monthly VA compensation increases by. That figure is quotable because the company's own General Counsel attached the Medical Evidence Development Agreement to sworn testimony before the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs on 27 April 2022, which makes the contract a congressional record rather than a leak. On a rating that lifts monthly compensation by $500, the invoice is $2,500. The same testimony frames it as a protection: "Trajector Medical does not charge a fee unless the medical evidence and medical consulting services provided actually result in the Veteran obtaining an increase." The agreement's signature block adds the other half: "You promise to pay us even if this agreement has been canceled prior to you receiving the increase in your VA pay."
The public record around the company is the longest in this set, and its parts are different in kind. Every figure below is from the Medical Evidence Development Agreement filed with the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs in April 2022. It is four years old, the company's website publishes no fee today, and we could not obtain a current agreement — so read this as what the contract said then, and ask for the current one in writing.
A $500 monthly increase: 5 × $500 = $2,500, due in one lump sum within 10 days of the invoice or over up to five months. The increase pays the invoice back in five months and is yours thereafter — which is the case for the fee, stated fairly.

- Send me your current fee agreement in writing before any call. Is the standard fee still five times my monthly increase?
- Work my invoice out in dollars on the increase you think I will get, and show me the arithmetic.
- I am a military retiree on CRDP. Does your fee apply to my increase or to my total monthly compensation counted from zero?
- If my claim is an appeal, what does the 10% per-month supplement add on my timeline? What about a CUE award at 25%?
- If I cancel, what do I still owe, and under what circumstances?
- If VA increases my rating for a reason unrelated to your evidence, do you still invoice me? What proof of causation do you require?
- You are in Chapter 11. Who is my counterparty, what happens to my case if the plan changes, and is my fee obligation being sold to anyone?
- VA's Office of General Counsel wrote to you in 2017 and 2022. What did the 2022 letter say about your fee structure, and what did you change?
- What exactly am I authorising when I let you monitor my benefit status and access VA systems with my information?
- Can I show your report to another clinician or advocate for a second opinion, or does the confidentiality clause forbid that?
- Have you told me, unprompted, that an accredited VSO will file and appeal my claim for $0?

- The fee agreement we read is dated April 2022 and was filed with Congress. We could not obtain a current one, and the website publishes no fee, so the terms may have changed.
